GPSU + MU and Raytheon L760 Instructions

To setup GPSU for RAYTHEON L760

GPS > Setup

Mark RAYTHEON in Interface Mode

Mark COM Port to the com port on PC that you are using.

Select Baud Rate 4800

To Download from the RAYTHEON to PC/GPSU

GPSU> GPS > Download

RAYTHEON > Press MARKS

a) Press the soft key WAYPOINT LIST.

b) Press the soft key SEND WPT LIST ON NMEA.

c) The soft key changes to STOP SENDING WAYPOINTS.

d) The waypoint and route lists are transmitted from the chartplotter to the PC/GPSU

At this time you should see waypoints counting up in the GPSU status bar in bottom left.

3) GPSU select GPS > Disconnect.

At this time the GPSU Waypoint screen should populate with the waypoints.

You can now manage the data with GPSU

 

To Upload from PC/GPSU to RAYTHEON

CAUTION: uploading to RAYTHEON will erase all waypoint/routes stored in the RAYTHEON. You must upload the complete file. You CANNOT update waypoints.

 

1) RAYTHEON > To display the waypoint list, press MARKS

1. Press the soft key WAYPOINT LIST.

2. Press the WAYPOINT TRANSFER soft key.

3. Press the soft key RECEIVE WPTS FROM ST/NMEA. The soft key changes to STOP RECEIVING WAYPOINTS.

4. To disable waypoint transfer, press the soft key STOP RECEIVING WAY-POINTS.

5. Alternatively, press ENTER, or CLEAR, twice to close the Waypoint List.

 

2) GPSU >GPS > Upload All/Upload Highlighted all

At this time you should see waypoints counting up in the GPSU status bar in bottom left.

GPSU > GPS > Disconnect.
